Lady Gaga wore a Chanel dress specially designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Gaga’s Workshop Ribbon Cutting at Barneys New York. The sketch by Karl Lagerfeld, of course.

Gaga's Workshop at Barneys New York is officially open!! Yes.. she took over the entire fifth floor! The merchandise range in price from $6 for candy to a one-off pair of Gaga shoes for $4,100. Thankfully, Barney’s will donate 25 percent of all the sales to the Born This Way Foundation, founded by Lady Gaga and her mother. The foundation will focus on youth empowerment by building self-confidence, fighting bullying, mentoring and career development. I think that is awesome!

Super edgy New York jewellery designer Pamela Love makes the kind of jewelry that you either LOVE or don't care for it. I LOVE with all my heart!

Her creations are the kind that provokes conversation and could stop traffic! Pamela has an interesting story, she comes from a medical background and prior to becoming a jewellery designer freaking genius, she was a fashion stylist in NYC. Jewellery making was more of a hobby until the day that she had to create some pieces for a photo shoot and the orders started coming and haven't stop ever since!

The inspiration behind her amazing creations come from different details in nature, science, astronomy, mythology, religion, ritual, magic, different culture and her work always have a macabre concepts. All pieces are created and detailed by hand in New York city. Her team uses 14k gold, Sterling silver, bronze, brass incorporating stones from quartz and obsidian to sapphires and champagne diamonds. She has collaborated with many great designers such as Zac Posen and artist like Lady Gaga. Pamela said in an interview that she was planning on creating some pieces at a lower price point. Yay because I WANT IT ALL!

McQueen Memorial tomorrow at London Fashion Week!

Lee Alexander McQueen will be honor on September 20th during London Fashion Week. A private memorial service will take place for the best designer ever lived at the St Paul's Cathedral, London. Friends and family of the late designer will celebrate his life and his work. Over 2500 people are expected. Anna Wintour and jeweler Shaun Leane will speak at the service. Lee Commits Suicide at 40 on February 12, 2010. He is very much mourned by the fashion community.

How can I not start with Lady Gaga? I love that she continues to outdo herself. She really is a unique individual. Lady Gaga ruled the night by winning 8 awards! But who cares about that.. let's talk about her wardrobe! She had 3 wardrobe changes and keep the worse for last! First Lady Gaga paid tribute to the amazing RIP Alexander McQueen by wearing one of his ART piece from his fall 2010 collection with her 10-inch Armadillo shoes that she wore in her "Bad Romance" video. GaGa’s look was completed with a gold feather hat by Philip Treacy. She wore that same dress for the September's British Vanity Fair issue. Stunning dress!



Her second outfit was a black leather dress and spiked black headpiece designed by Giorgio Armani. I loved it!

Finally, to accept her award for video of the year, Lady Gaga wore a meat dress by Franc Fernandez. I like Lady Gaga for her fearless creativity but that meat dress was gross! I wonder if she had a freezer instead of a garment bag?

PETA already reacted to her dress “Oh, Lady Gaga’s job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body,” PETA’s President, Ingrid Newkirk, told the Daily News.

This is a really nice dress Katy.. if you are going to do a figure skating performance. I think she was shooting California Gurls with Snoop Dogg prior to her wardrobe consultation/fitting and had one to many drag! Her dress is from Marchesa from the Fall 2010 Collection and she wore Jimmy Choo heels completed her look.

Ke$ha looked like a garbage warrior. Really.. she looks very uncomfortable and she's got such a cute style that she really could have done better. K$ wore Walter Steiger shoes, Charles Albert jewelery, and a Swarovski clutch. Her dress was designed by Marjan Malakpour and custom made by Lauren Bradely.

My favorite performance of the night was from Eminem and Rihanna. "Not Afraid." Accompanied by an orchestra, chorus of gospel singers and drummers, he was joined later on by Rihanna to perform "Love the Way You Lie."



And yes.. I also like Kanye West performance.. I know he is a jerk but I still think he is amazing and the beat was so great! If I can be a jerk myself.. I would of add more ballet dancers on stage!

TIME Magazine’s annual most influential people in the world list. Lady Gaga!! The issue features a great article written by Cyndi Lauper and it I wanted to share with you!!

“I first heard the name Lady Gaga through a mutual friend. He couldn’t stop talking about her. Then I heard her music, and I thought, Wow, I love this kid.

“An artist’s job is to take a snapshot — be it through words or sound, lyrics or song — that explains what it’s like to be alive at that time. Lady Gaga’s art captures the period we’re in right now. These days, you go to a club and wonder who all these kids are. They don’t seem to have jobs. How can they afford to be here? Her song “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” explains that scene. It’s about the New York prep-school party kids she grew up with. It’s where she came from. Gaga’s lyrics are incredibly literary. When “Bad Romance” starts, the music grabs your ear immediately. Then she opens with the line “I want your ugly/ I want your disease,” and all of a sudden you’re listening. Most of the stuff on the radio is not very clever, but Gaga presents her ideas in a sophisticated manner. She has an incredible pop sensibility.

People forget how young she is. She is barely 24 — much younger than I was when I became famous. It’s very tough being where she is right now. People are pulling her in all different directions. It’s hard to navigate that. Try to imagine what you were like at her age, if you still can. I can’t wait to see how she grows and what she decides her next act will be. She only has two albums out, but already she is inspiring other artists to go further in their own work.

“When I see somebody like Gaga, I sit back in admiration. I’m inspired to pick up the torch again myself. I did an interview with her once, and she showed up with a sculpture on her head. I thought, How awesome. Being around her, I felt like the dust was shaken off of me. I find it very comforting to sit next to somebody and not have to worry that I look like the freak. She isn’t a pop act, she is a performance artist. She herself is the art. She is the sculpture.”

Freidin proposed his idea for The Doggie Gaga Project to Netherland-based Impossible Project who has taken on the impossible: to re-invent and re-start production of analog integral film for vintage Polaroid Cameras. They graciously donated two packs of original Polaroid film (20 prints total). Freidin and his small team went to work creating the custom-made, Gaga-inspired canine fashions for a Boston Terrier, a Mexican hairless, a Shiba Inu, and two Pit Bulls. Shooting in his San Francisco studio, Freidin employed a Horseman field camera with a Polaroid back using the increasingly rare T-669. During the photo shoot, no animals were harmed – or even irritated.

 Jesse Freidin, a traditional film photographer who characteristically photographs dog portraits with a Hasselblad, recently won Beast of the Bay’s 2010 award for “Best Dog Photographer.” With years of experience as a fine-art photographer and professional dog-handler, Freidin has a unique approach to animal photography that captures the deeply emotional tie that people have with their pets. As one of the last surviving traditional photographers in the Bay Area, he creates museum-quality black-and-white photographs with unbeatable richness and tone, that are produced, from start to finish, entirely by hand. His true passion for animals and loyalty to analog photography made it only natural that he would create “The Doggie Gaga Project.”

In the words of Edwin Land, the Inventor of Instant Photography, “Don’t undertake a project unless it is manifestly important and nearly impossible.”

Lady Gaga was recently named creative director for a specialty line of Polaroid products. Asked if he has met Lady Gaga, Freidin replied, “Not yet, but I’d love to. I hope she enjoys the pictures.”

What will she wear next?

I do like lady Gaga. I found her fascinating. I think she knows who she is and she is true to herself. She express herself through her creative wardrobe and although some of her outfit are making you say WTF.. each of her looks are deeply though of and there is a story behind each of her looks. She is a HUGE inspiration for the fashion world.

Things are not what they use to be in the music industry, having talents does not guarantee you a future. You really need to stand out from everyone else and she sure knows how to do that. It is all about entertaining people, which Lady Gaga does through her fashion style and stage persona. She sure is a great entertainer!
