Lenny Kravitz for The Block Magazine

Caribbean-Jewish Lenny Kravitz is one of MY sexiest men alive. He is super talented and always looks delicious! He always looks crazy comfortable in everything he wears and everything he wear seems labeless and THAT'S a style icon to me! Beside, no one can wears a nose ring, nipple piercings, a man-purse, skin tight wet-shirt or even a dress and heeled boots with more masculinity than Lenny! Can you believe he is 47 years old?

Lunettes de soleil ♥♥♥

Should we thank the Inuit, the early Roman or the Chinese for the world's first sunglasses ? Sunglasses have sure come a long way!

Inuit people wore flat ivory "glasses," that was created from bone, leather or wood with small slits see through in order to block the bright spring sunlight. This example was made from walrus ivory and dates back to between 1200 AD / 1600 AD. They are now in the collection of the Canadian Museum of Civilization.

There is a rumor that the Roman emperor Nero enjoyed watching gladiator fights through polished gems.

In China, sunglasses were used in the twelfth century or even earlier.
Chinese judges used the smoky quartz glasses to hide their facial expressions when they interrogated witnesses.

Sunglasses then became THE popular item that they are today when Sam Foster introduced them to America in 1929. He sold his sunglasses on the boardwalk of the Atlantic City and the New Jersey beaches! It only took a few Famous movie stars and sexy musicians to wear sunglasses.. it became the "cool" thing to wear, even when not sunny or indoors. In my opinion, you don't look cool wearing sunglasses indoor. You just look confuse!

Some sunglasses that caught my attention:

Be careful.. you don't wanna sit on theses $15,000 Platinum Bentley Sunglasses! I am definitely to clumsy to ever do such a purchase! Each pair will be individually numbered and can also be engraved with owner’s name and / or Bentley model number. Prices will range from about $1,900 for the silver palladium version and $5,500 for the 18 carat gold all the way up to $15,000 for the platinum model.

These sunglasses also protect the third eye.. the brain!

I am in LOVE with the idea behind these aviator sunglasses from iwood! The perfect pair for me would be a combination of gold and wood. Perhaps a gold fine frame with a thinner wood frame inside. Just more feminine! Theses are handmade from harvested wood, and the temple and lenses are imported from Italy. $350
